Avec un peu de retard, voici l'heureuse gagante du concours d'histoires pour l'illustration "Le Jardin". La chanceuse se nomme Chelsea Tullar qui a d'ailleurs une très jolie boutique sur Etsy. Cette demoiselle recevra un imprimé de l'ullustration, accompagné de son histoire, ainsi qu'une petite surprise en plus.

Jenna and Jane, walked down the small village street,
down to the garden of pink flowers and would stay there all day.
Now they were young girls about the age of 10,
their hair was white as snow and their skin
was as pale as the moon,they wore dresses
that were void of color and black shawls tied just so.
Whenever they went out, one would carry a pair of
scissors and the other a brown bag in their frail hands.
People that saw them passing would close their windows
or scurry back inside,the village of cranberry didn't know what to think!
Everyone in the village would ask this one question "Where did they come from?"
and someone would always answer "Nobody knows!"

Les petites premières de classe

Déjà la rentrée des classes pour plusieurs depuis début septembre déjà...et je n'y ai pas échappé! J'ai commencé la semaine derniere un master en gestion culturelle, et pour l'inxtant, ça s'annonce bien!

Pour l'occasion de ce retour à l'école, j'ai réalisé ces trois petites premières de classe, toutes portant de jolies lunettes et un petit air suffisant...

Well well, September is for many of us the back to school time, and so it was for me last week! I'm starting a master diploma in cultural management, and I think it will be great!

For the occasion, I made those three little geek girls that are wearing lovely retro glasses. Don't they look smart with their cute smug expressions on their faces?

Le grain de sel du sucre

Laissez moi vous présenter une créatrice de bijoux exeptionnels, Elodie Rose Hamaide, qui tient une boutique en ligne nommée Le grain de sel du sucre. J'ai dernierement travaillé avec elle, et quelques une de mes illustrations sont maintenant sur de magnifiques pieces faites à la main, dotées d'un style vintage que j'aime beaucoup. Chaque piece que vous trouverez sur sa boutique est unique, et la demoiselle pourra aussi, selon ses disponibilités, vous créer un bijou sur mesure!
Ce collier ci a été créé pour moi et je le trouve tellement beau que j'ai pensé qu'il fallait vous le montrer.

Les images à l'intérieur du médaillon (voir plus bas) sont des dessins que j'ai fait pour l'occasion, et qui représentent mon amoureux et moi.

Let me introduce you a fabulous jewelry designer, Elodie Rose Hamaide, who owns a shop online called Le grain de sel du sucre. I've worked with her and some of my illustrations are now mounted on beautiful handmade pieces that have a lovely vintage style. Every piece of her shop is unique, and she also makes customized jewels with photos and gems or pearls of your choice.

She made this one for me and I am so happy about it that I tought I had to show it to you...

The photos inside the locket are portraits that I've made especially for it, representing my boyfriend and I.

Silhouettes

Cela faisait un moment que je voulais essayer de faire des illustrations numériques, mais je dois dire que ça n'est pas aussi facile que ça en a l'air! Toutefois, après quelques heures de travail déterminé, je crois que ce premier résultat n'est pas trop mal...Je pense les imprimer sur des t-shirts, qu'en pensez vous?

Wanted to try digital illustration for a long time, but must say that it's not as easy at it seems! However, after a couple of hours of determinate work, I think that those two first results are not too bad! Think I'm gonna print them on tees...what do you think?
