Avec le temps frisquet que nous avons à Bruxelles depuis quelques jours, j'ai pensé que ce serait une bonne idée d'un peu couvrir les mini poupées...

Ces deux petits nouveaux, Raymond et Henriette, sont donc prêt à affronter le temps froid qui sera bientôt là, grâce à leurs écharpes en laine. Tous les deux sont maintenant dans la boutique!

With the cold weather we had in Brussels these last days, I tought it would be a great idea to cover up a little the mini dolls...

Those two new little ones, Raymond and Henriette, are ready for the frisky weather with their hand knitted whool scarves. They are now both in the shop!

The 7 things about me....

1. I hate the end of the summer vacations, but love it at the same time when the weather begins to get a bit cold and windy (like today... ♥ ).

2. I discovered the "Lost" serie only this summer (I'm late I know!). I still have some episodes left to watch...I still don't know what the Island is (and don't tell me ^^).

3. Some little bugs called "aoutats" which you can learn them about here seem to absolutely love my skin. Each time I go to the countryside at my boyfriend's parent's home, I get literaly covered by their bites, and it seems I'm the only one in the family who gets this "special treatment".

4. I still don't know what I'll do after my last school year, and it's in...one year!

5. I love good (and bad) food a little to much. One day I'll get very fat.

6. When I was a little girl, I wanted to be Cleopatra and Dracula.

7. I went trick or treating until I was 16...and had a good alibi: I had to escort my little sister! :-) Unfortunately she grew up and prefered her friends the other years...

Halloween teaser

Comme Halloween est tout de même avant Noël (et on y sera très vite, yé!), je devais faire au moins quelques créations Halloweeniennes pour la boutique. Ces mini poupées sont peut être les premières d'un mini série spéciale? Je n'en suis pas encore certaine, mais j'aimerais beaucoup réaliser une petite sorcière ou peut être un fantôme...

J'aurai l'occasion d'y réfléchir ce week end, puisque je file à la campagne pour prendre un peu d'air frais! ^^

As Halloween is still before Christmas (and will be here very soon, yay!) I had to make some Halloween stuff for the Shop . These mini dolls are maybe the two first of a special serie? Don't know yet, but I would love to make a witch or maybe a ghost.

Well well, I'll think about it this week end, as I'm heading for the countryside to take some fresh air!

Il y a quelques jours je me suis mise à réfléchir sur quelques idées de Noël pour ma boutique, mais il me semble qu'il soit encore trop tôt non? L'automne n'est même pas encore là...Et même si j'adore cette saison, je ne veux pas y penser! Je suis toujours un peu déprimée à la fin de l'été, car cette période rime avec retour à l'école...Il me reste encore 4 semaines (si on y pense, ce n'est pas encore si mal!), mais la mi septembre sera là si vite, ah..

Néanmoins, avant que je ne devienne bien occupée par ma dernière année d'université, je passe le plus de temps possible à créer de nouvelles choses. J'ai récement décidé de faire quelqes ornements, mais pas encore tout à fait dans l'esprit de Noël. Ils pourront donc décorer votre nid toute l'année! Ces gentlemen et vamps sont maintenant sur ma Boutique Etsy.

I started to think of Christmas items for my shop a couple of days ago, but isn't it too early? Fall is not even here yet...and I don't whant to think about it even if I love this season. I'm always a bit sad when summer ends, because I'll have to go back to school soon...I still have 4 weeks yet (if you think about it, it's not too bad!) but mid September will be here so fast, ah...

Anyway, before I get busy whit my last university year, I spend all the time I can making some new items. I recently decided to make ornaments, but not completely in the Christmas holiday mood, so they can decorate your nest all year long! Those gentlemen and lady vamps are now in my Etsy Shop.

Bruxelles ma belle

Le Manneken pis

Cette semaine, j'ai reçu la visite d'une invitée bien spéciale...Ma cousinne Anne-Sophie est venue me dire un petit bonjour de Montréal avant de partir quelques semaines à Annecy. Nous avons donc passé quelques jours ensemble et avons profité de l'occasion pour visiter Bruxelles et Namur (cette ville est surplombée par une énorme citadelle qui a conservé 4 km de souterrains, certains datant même du 10e siècle!).

Ce fut très drôle de voir ses réactions de sa première visite en Europe. Elle a été très impressionnée par l'architecture d'ici (très différente de celle de Montréal). Et pour une fois au moins, j'ai eu une bonne raison de manger une énorme gauffre avec de la glace et des fraises! Fallait bien qu'elle goûte à cette spécialité belge...

La grand place de Bruxelles

I had a very special guest this week. My cousin Anne-Sophie came from Montreal to say hello before going to Annecy in France. We spent a couple of days together, visiting Brussels and Namur (this city has a huge citadelle with 4 km of underground tunnels, some of them are from the 10th century!).

It was very fun to see all her reactions, she was very impressed by the architecture that we have here (very different than Montreal's). And at least for this time I had a good reason to eat a enormous waffle with ice cream and strawberries on it! Yay! She had to taste this belgian speciality...no?

Je me suis lancée dans une vraie frénésie de poupées cet été, et c'est loin d'être terminé! Ca bouge beaucoup dans ma petite tête ces temps ci...

Voici donc trois nouvelles petites poupées, Léa, Madeleine et Odilon (oui, j'ai été le chercher loin ce prénom là! Je trouve que ça lui va comme un gant, qu'en pensez vous?).

Je serai bientôt de retour avec des photos de Bruxelles à vous montrer. Une cousine du Québec débarque en Europe demain pour trois semaine et vient me visiter quelques jours...Un chouette occasion de redécouvrir la ville que je ne connais pas encore assez!

This summer, I dashed into a real doll obsession, and I think it's gonna last for a while! I can feel that there is a lot of acitivity in my little head...

Here are three new mini dolls, Lea, Madeleine and Odilon (a pretty unusual name I know, but I think it is perfect for him, no?).

I'll be back soon with pictures of Brussels to show you. My cousin from Quebec province is coming tomorrow to visit me for a couple of days, and I'll take the opportunity to rediscover the city which I don't know that well yet.
